Scholastican in Spotlight: How Rowena Miranda Became a Leading Advocate for Women’s Empowerment and Leadership

Rowena C. Miranda is a BSC-Financial Management graduate and a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and leadership. She recognizes the crucial role of education and leadership in achieving gender equality in the corporate world. Through her dedication to her chosen career, she has achieved several notable accomplishments, including leading a division with the greatest number of home loan approvals, championing her team in gaining the Division of the Year award, and achieving the Top Target Achievers award for the highest number of achievement rates during her term as a Division Head at EastWest Bank in 2022.

Rowena strongly believes in the importance of having strong women leaders and role models who can inspire and empower other women to pursue their dreams and break through barriers. She is proud to be a part of the empowered community at St. Scholastica’s College Manila, where women can gain valuable skills and knowledge to help them succeed in their careers. Rowena believes that her time at SSC Manila served as a steppingstone towards numerous opportunities for personal growth and development as a leader. She is committed to contributing to the mission of promoting women’s empowerment and leadership and looks forward to utilizing the skills and experiences gained at St. Scholastica’s College Manila to make a positive impact in this field.

With a positive outlook on the future, she firmly believes that through collaboration, women can pave the way for a world where their voices are heard, and their contributions are valued and acknowledged. She is committed to working towards gender equality, overcoming any obstacles, and paving the way for a brighter future. Rowena’s success story is a genuine source of inspiration for both Scholasticans and for all Filipino women. Through her accomplishments in the corporate field, Rowena has defied conventional expectations and demonstrated that women can achieve remarkable feats when empowered. Her story is a testament to the potential of all women everywhere.
