SC launches PPP
Last September 14 the Environment Area of the Student Council (SC) launched its second project entitled “Plant Protection Program” (PPP) which aims to encourage students to participate actively in caring for nature and strengthening the relationship between the student body and the environment.
In PPP, each section is required to take care of and “mother” a plant, the Citronella – an indoor insect repellent plant – for the entire school year. Each semester, members of the SC will check if the plant is kept healthy and alive. This monitoring will be the basis for points that the classes may receive which will be credited in the umbrella project of the SC called the Scholastican House Cup. If the plant dies, the section receives no house points for the rest of the school year from the aforementioned program.
