“NAIIBANG EBA” a 4ft. x 5 ft. acrylic on canvas is a collaborative project by Andrea Acevedo, Mary Cuenca, Giselle Lee , Bea Asinas and Debbie Ann Sacres of BFA 3VAD in their concept development class mentored by Prof. Jokay, Fine Arts Department Chair. The artwork is a visual expression done purposely for the celebration of Women’s month.
“Naiibang Eba” pertains to women who establish in themselves the strength to overcome the challenges in life. We, as Scholasticans, have the eagerness to fight for what is right and just. Katty Perry’s music “Roar” served as inspiration to BFA 3VAD students in interpreting the mighty women of today. Just like having the eye of a tiger, we are considered fighters who tend to be aggresive in imparting our advocacies for the betterment of the society.
