High School Office Personnel & General Services Personnel Sponsor an Outreach Activity

March 5,2015

“Christmas, my child, is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give, it’s Christmas.”

HS OPPS Outreach copyThis famous quote by Dale Evans Rogers was brought to life and transformed into action by the High School Office Personnel and General Services Personnel (OP-GSP) as they organized an outreach activity at Tuluyan San Benito last December 13, 2014.

In coordination with Ms. Norelyn Belaro, head of Tanggapan ng Kalinga, the activity tagged, “Kaunting Kasiyahan para sa mga Batang Lansangan” was made possible. There were 28 homeless children who benefited from the contributions gathered from all personnel of the High School Unit, friends from the different departments and sponsors who pledged food such as Jollibee, crinkles, fruits, chips, and school supplies, calendars, toys, shirts and cash.

The activity was also filled with fun as volunteers like Mr. Armand Galicia, a High School faculty, and the “Titas” from the unit served during the short program as emcee, and performers, respectively. Even the children prepared and rendered a song and dance number for the facilitators. There were also games and treats which made that Saturday afternoon an affair to remember.

This activity was made possible because of the following persons who were generous and compassionate to the children of Tuluyan San Benito: Miss Marie Louise Arnaldo, Miss Sheryl Sombilon, and Miss Norelyn Belaro for extending assistance in the event; Mrs. Suzette Gatmaitan, Mrs. Olive Fermin, Mrs. Gemma Estocado, Miss Marie Louise Arnaldo, Mrs. Lourdes Dizon, Mrs.Bernadette Mariano, Mrs. Myrna Fabian, Miss Ma. Angelica Matias, Mrs. Helen Lazo, Mr. Allan Arellano, Dra. Ma. Luisa Mangubat, Miss Dory Salubayba, Mrs. Lea Vera, Miss Sheryl Sombilon, Mrs. Lina Monsod, Miss Alma Alcantara, Mr. Ronaldo Quiambao, Mrs. Cion Racpan and Miss Loida Jimenez, Mrs. Gerlie Fernandez for donating; and Sr. Rosalina Fajardo, OSB for the opportunity to share our blessings to the less fortunate.
