Dear me, Yours truly
Dear me, Yours truly observes various forms of artworks that reflect how each artist utilizes personal experiences to explore the ideas of identity validation. The creation of the visual representations of self serves as a cathartic and self explorative exercise that can be compared to writing a simple but intimate letter to oneself.
The process of personal introspection enabled artists to create extensions of their individuality, understand and express emotions by reliving memories and communicate to console through the use of traditional and non-traditional means of art-making including painting, photography and … installation.
