Excellent leadership skills require trainings and seminars; and in a corporate world, one must be equipped with these skills in order to achieve success.

Since 2006, the Aboitiz Group has been bringing together the country’s top 90 college students nationwide for a two-day event which features activities that will develop and hone the student’s business and leadership skills. The Summit is just one of the many programs under the Aboitiz Future Talents Program, which also accepts interns and scholars on a yearly basis. To date, The Future Talents Program has taught over 60 interns and helped close to 50 college scholars.

This year (2014), the Aboitiz group opened their upcoming 9th Future Leaders Business Summit to all college and university students who were interested to join in their training this August. The annual gathering of students is the Aboitiz Group’s way of preparing potential youth leaders for the corporate world while solidifying their faith and hope in our country. All students underwent screening and panel interviews before final delegates were chosen. It is an honor to have a Scholastican on board; congratulations to Ms. Johnna Paula Austria a 4th year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Business Management for being among the top ninety (90) students who were selected. She is the only Scholastican in this year’s batch of leadership trainees.

Johnna Austria is one of the thriving names in the Business Management Department her excellent leadership skills brought her to be the Junior Association of Management’s (JAM) president for the SY 2014-2015. She is a consistent Dean’s Lister, and a proud scholar of St. Scholastica’s College, Manila. As a graduating student this year, requirements are flooding in but she remains focused and is always able to achieve her goals with undeniably great results.
