The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Business and Information Systems Management (BISM) Program combines the fundamental intellectual content of both Information Systems Management and Business Management. It is a rigorous, challenging program for students who want to pursue a career in solving business problems through the use of information technology. It provides students the mathematics and science fundamentals of information systems management and an understanding of the environment in which information technology (IT) solutions will be applied.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Business Management Program develops and produce graduates who are management professionals prepared to take on entry level jobs and become highly trainable employees with considerable level of competencies to climb corporate ladders. It equips students with skills and knowledge to become excellent problem solvers, position thinkers, innovators, change agents, and socially responsible career women of strong Benedictine values. The program enables graduates to penetrate the diverse entry points of the labor market and business community. It also enables them to follow flexible career paths that would bring out the best of their inherent as well as acquired talents and capabilities in order to success in any business or corporate undertakings.

The Financial Management Program aims to provide to prepare the students to possess a strong foundation on theory, principles, and concepts, as well as analytical tools and perspectives that would provide a sound and competitive basis for financial decision making.

The program requires high level of dynamism and commitment from students. The students will work in depth in each course through proper balancing of finance theory and research literature with the practical aspects of financial management.

The program aims to produce graduates for the careers in financial department of general businesses, investment banking firms, broker dealer firms, management consulting firms, various department of commercial banks, and other financial institutions, central banks and international financial institutions.

The Franchise Management (FrM) Program prepares students to become certified entrepreneurs and franchise executives with a strong sense of social responsibility.

It introduces the prospective entrepreneurs and franchise executives to the rudiments of the functional areas of business, such as Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resource Management and a host of other liberal education fields.

The Program matches the needs of the industry through linkages with the various government agencies involved in small and medium enterprise development and with the franchise industry associations. It requires students to undergo an intensive Industry Practicum that would enable them to apply the concepts, techniques and skills they gained in the Program.

The International Business Economics and Diplomacy Program provides students high level of professional education in the area of International Business Economics and Diplomacy. It develops the competency of students in international economic and foreign policy analysis and enhances their qualities and skills for foreign relations, negotiations, and diplomatic protocol.

The Program produces Economic Diplomats who possess fundamental and technical knowledge and skills, are molded according to the needs of both local and international private and public organizations, are imbued with a functional understanding of basic economic and diplomacy concepts, and have high level of trainability in international trade transactions and foreign relations.

The Marketing Management Program focuses on molding young minds into highly skilled and practical marketing professionals who are equally at home in the rigorous, corporate business environment and in the highly competitive, entrepreneurial business setting. This is achieved by developing the students’ knowledge and skills competence in both the functional and analytical aspects of the Marketing profession, as well as the maturity and professional attitude of a strategically service-minded Marketing professional.

Corporate Communication Management (CORP COM)

The minor program in Corporate Communication Management integrates the theory and practice of management, communication, and information technology.

It enables students to develop knowledge of the complexity and importance of communication processes and awareness of cultural and environmental issues.

The Program teaches students to critically evaluate and apply theories and practice of managing business communication in oral, written, electronic and multimedia forms.

The Diploma Program in Interdisciplinary Business Studies provides students a solid background in general business and management. Through the integration of contemporary business theories and practices, the Program provides the foundation and functional knowledge and skills as well as practical application of the principles to business opportunities and management challenges in the modern business environment.

The Program offers various perspectives ranging from the planning of the small business to the broader roles of management, finance, marketing, business technologies, and employment relations and the impact of these to the global business environment.

IBS provides students not only the practical exposure to a wide range of necessary business skills but also to working competencies to meet the demands of a growing “global village”, thus, preparing the students to the roles, duties and responsibilities to junior business professionals and entrepreneurs.
