SSC Faculty and Staff joins JPIC
In the continuous effort of St. Scholastica’s College to respond to save mother Earth and be good stewards of creation, the faculty, administrators, office personnel and general services personnel attended a seminar –workshop on Benedictine stewardship with Sr. Cecille Ido, OSB and Sr. Noela Montiel, OSB on July 3, 2015 at Sr. Ehrentrudis Hall.
Sr. Cecille and Sr. Noela are leaders of the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) Committee who go from one Benedictine school to another to give a workshop on ecological management in schools. At the end of the workshop the participants presented concrete steps by which they would be able to practice ecological stewardship at St. Scholastica’s College Manila. Representatives from Grade School, Junior High School, Senior High School, College, Academic Non-teaching Staff, and General Services Unit were also chosen as members of JPIC.
