School of Business joins 17th Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition
The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FEIP), in partnership with JPMorgan Chase & Co. has extended its invitation to the School of Business to participate in its 17th Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition. It is an annual competition joined by Colleges and Universities from all over the country and claimed to be the country’s toughest and most prestigious academic competition in economics, banking and finance.
According to its guidelines, the questions are patterned after the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 Program. The Elimination Round will be held on the 16th of October 2015 in various regional venues (Baguio, Pampanga, Cebu, Bacolod, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Manila), and the Final Round is scheduled on the 23rd of November 2015 in Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
A team of business students from the Financial Management (FM) Department and International Business Economics and Diplomacy (IBEAD) Department has been formed to participate in the competition. Coached by Prof. Francis Ian Quesada, Chair of the Financial Management Department, the School of Business Team is composed of Lovelyness Salamo (IBEAD 4), Kathryn Diane Salonga (FM 4) and Phatricia Anne Tamayo (IBEAD 4). Serving as alternative team members are Romaine Chiara Fermin (FM) and Ma. Katreen Supan (IBEAD). We wish our Business Team the best of luck and God’s guidance.
