Psychology and Counseling Department Launches Student Brand
Dr. Maria Victoria Trinidad, Chair of the Psychology and Counseling Department together with Prof. Ma. Asuncion Azcuna, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, launched the Scholastican Psychology Major’s Student Brand during the Annual General Assembly on August 10, 2015.
According to Dr. Trinidad, the purpose of defining the student brand is to differentiate Scholastican Psychology graduates among Psychology majors, for them to “stand out” and “be preferred.” The student brand was defined in two ways, its visual identity (Student Brand logo) and verbal identity (Student Brand manifesto, “Our Creed”) – refer to audio-visual presentation.
Each student was given a pin bearing the logo of the student brand. Students were invited to learn the creed by heart since it defines who they are –Scholastican Psychology Majors. Dean Azcuna challenged Psychology majors to be walking advertisements of the student brand.
