Night of Music 2014: Let your singing voice be heard
As a yearly tradition, St. Scholastica’s College-Student Council held their first Night of Music event for this academic year at the Social Hall of the St. Hildegarde building on July 11, 2014. The event is an opportunity for students to bring out in the open their musical abilities. Ms. Audrey Castillo, 2nd Year Batch Representative, formally opened the event, followed by an invocation from Ms. Pamela Altre while the emcees for the Night of Music were Ms. Katreen Beron and Ms. Jillian Adrias.
Scholasticans were able to showcase their talents in this fun-filled event. There were solo and group performances with various accompaniment Several performances were Popular upbeat and love songs such as “More Than Words”, “Treasure”, “Let Her Go”, “Pompeii”, “It Will Rain”, and many more. There was also an intermission number from the college dance group, Danz Edge. At the conclusion of the event, there was also an opportunity given to the members of the audience to showcase their talents.
The Social Hall was filled with hymns and melody as the students sway their heads and sing their hearts out to the songs and tunes performed by their fellow Scholasticans. The Night of Music only goes to show that Scholasticans are truly blessed with remarkable talents!
