Kimberly Abellon: Awards Received & Projects Made for PLDT Home Channel Sales.

Last March 29, 2014 The Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) held its 12th Student Camp Launch with 114 students participating from top colleges and universities. After a series of screenings and interviews only 40 were chosen.  There were 6 Scholasticans who attended the launch but only 3 made it to the final cut, namely, Kimberly Malka Abellon of MM4A, Ermalyn Benoza of FM4A and Talia Soriaga of BM4A.

Kimberly Malka Abellon was assigned to the Home Channel Sales Department under Ms. Perpetua Dorego and Mr. Ryan Ramos. She received various awards from the 12th PLDT Student Camp such as the Energizer Award – in recognition of her continuous effort in exhibiting high levels of energy; the Earth Award – for her desire to do good to others, her display of goodwill, charitableness and to be filled with benevolence toward one’s fellow creatures; and the Water Award – for showing strength throughout the activity and for a commendable project for her department also known as the revalida entitled:

A Strategic Plan for Home Channel Sales.”

(Sales Report- 54 Personal Accumulated Sales, Mall Events Recommendation, Prospective Dealers’ Website and Mobile Site, Current Sales Agents’ and Dealers’ Portal with Implementation, Infographics for Prospective Dealers and House Rules in Mall Events, Trainings Conducted)

The plan consists of her sales report, infographics for prospective dealers and House Rules for mall events. She created and launched a web and mobile website for prospective dealers, also an agent’s portal site that had been implemented last May 28, 2014 and is now being used by the PLDT Home Channel Sales Department. She also conducted training workshop for Sales Agents on how to use the agent’s portal.  In her two months’ stay with the department she was able to contribute a lot to PLDT Home Channel Sales and that’s what her department was grateful for.
