JRHA keep up with QCNA: Kulinarya, Turismo, Talento, Ay Iba Pa Year 8
QCNA: Kulinarya, Turismo, Talento, At Iba Pa Year 8 is a two-day celebration of culture, arts, and tourism to encourage individuals promote Quezon City through different activities and competitions. QC-NA is a pun intended word play on QC and Kusina as it mainly promotes food as one of the propelling factor to foster tourism.
QCNA 8 continues to highlight the same objective – that of celebrating Quezon City’s talents, cultural gems, places, and people. They held their festivities from November 25-26, at the Central Plaza, Eastwood City, Libis, and championing local tourism specifically highlighting major players from the food purveyors, restaurants, cafes, hotels, travel agencies, culinary institutes, museums, city libraries and partners from the local city government offices.
The Junior Restaurateur and Hoteliers Association together with their coach Prof. Lailie Sicdawag of I-HOTELEIRES joined two category of QCNA culinary competitions. Airish Jazmin Manabat and Ashley Joanne Banez exhibited their resourcefulness and creativity as they showcased their “Grilled Chicken and Pork with Trio of Sauces and Grilled Vegetable Salad” in the category of Mixed Grilled BBQ, Sauces & Garnishing Competition. Larren Ysabel Samson and Anne Hearty Irigon showcased their winning dish “Pollo a la Paella Filipina” in the Noche Buena Handa sa Pamilya Cooking Competition and they became the GRAND PRIZE WINNER.
Truly, it is all about the excitement with inspiration, motivation, and a pinch of creativity that they achieved their success.
