JAM Appreciation Day
As we end our holding office and as the curtain of academic year 2014-2015 closes, the Junior Association of Management decided to give back to the people who helped us become successful in our projects and activities. We recognize the valuable contribution of the Scholastican community in our journey as we aspire to become the best organization we can be. Last February 17, cakes were delivered to various offices with personalized cards that say: “Thank you for being part of our journey”. The following week, mugs were given to the persons who played important roles in our lives as an organization. The mugs were designed using the winning poster during the JAM @ 40 Poster-making Contest by LJ Tanaquin of the MassComm Department and bearing the same thank you note written in the cards. It was simple yet meaningful. We were fulfilled to see how surprised and happy they were to receive such gifts from us. The smiles we saw on their faces were just so genuine. The simple distribution of gifts turned out to be exchanges of happy ‘throwback’ memories and farewell messages. The recipients were some of the administrators, deans, professors, office staff, kuyas and ates from the AGSO, alumnae, and Student Council officers.
As we celebrated our 40th Anniversary, the memories we had with the many different people around SSC serve as our legacy; it is the mark that we want to leave as we end our journey as an organization for this academic year. The season of love was the perfect time to send the message to them that we appreciate and love them for having supported us. It is not just help; rather it is support that continues to fuel us to maximize our potentials in order to achieve our organizational goals.
To all the people in the SSC Community who inspired, mentored and molded us to becoming the best persons we can be, we will forever be grateful to you. It is people like you who enable us to become more committed to achieving excellence. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF OUR JOURNEY.
