The Grade School Computer Center is located on the fourth floor of Sta. Maria Building Annex. It has 115 computer units. There are 3 computer laboratories in Grade School-Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI), main lab and small laboratory.
The Grade School Computer Aided Instruction Room has high end computer units. It has 45 Dell Quad 2 Core units with 1GB network connections and flat screen monitors.
The main laboratory has 45 Entry Level Quad 2 Core and 25 Acer mini desktop Dual Core units in the small laboratory. Each computer unit has a headset for audio listening purposes. The GS Computer Center has its own projector installed in each laboratory room for presentation of multimedia lessons. Printers and scanners are also available in the laboratory.
All computers are connected in the internet and local area network. Giga bytes connection is available in the CAI Room for easy and fast access to the Internet and Local Area Network. Teachers and students can save their files in the SSC server.
The computer Center is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and on Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The use of the computer laboratory is arranged and scheduled by the Computer Coordinator – giving priority to all computer classes from Prep to Grade 6. Use of the laboratories by other subject areas can be accommodated only through reservation. All computer users must observe the rules and regulations set by the Computer Center to ensure safety while inside the laboratory premises.
